If you’re looking for a new, exhilarating way to celebrate Halloween, then it’s time for you to experience a Freaky Flights Tour at ZipZone. On this tour, you’ll get the rush of speeding down a zip line in the dark and participating in fun activities like Pumpkin Chuckin and our Costume Contest. Keep reading to find out all of the cool things you’ll get to experience and do on the tour!
Zip Line in the Dark
You’ll only have the light of the moon to guide your way during the Freaky Flights Tour, so you’ll be speeding through near total darkness on your way down the course. The moon will hardly be visible at the end of the month this year so it will be a different experience than our Full Moon Tours. You’ll get to see all sorts of spooky things too, which will make for an unforgettable Halloween. If you’ve never experienced zip lining in the dark, then you’re in for a real treat!
The highlight of the tour will be the Pumpkin Chuckin contest, and as the name suggests, it involves chucking a pumpkin at a target. This is a fun way to win prizes and practice your chucking marksmanship. You don’t need to do anything special to enter the contest. Our guides will provide the pumpkins for the tour and the targets will be set up on one the ground below the tour. All you have to do is pick up a pumpkin and throw it at the right time. Hopefully, your aim wins you a prize.
In addition to the fun of zip lining, there will also be a costume contest, so come out in your spookiest get-up! Costumes are completely optional but super fun and encouraged. Just make sure that your costume can fit under the harness and helmet (Don’t come dressed as a pumpkin or sumo wrestler!). Zip Zone staff members will pick a winner at the end of every evening. This is fun for people of all ages and only adds to the ambiance of the event. Wearing something warm that can stand-up to fast speeds is important if you want to finish the course without damaging your costume or getting too chilly.
In 2016, the Freaky Flights Tours will be available Oct. 28-31. Tours start at 7 p.m., with multiple tours running each night. Be sure to get on a zip line this Halloween if you want to have a good time. Contact us if you have any questions!
